Tourism is the sole industry in Cozumel, which explains the huge numbers of resorts, water sports businesses, restaurants and souvenir shops. This can be a really good thing for travelers who maybe aren’t as adventurous and want to stay close to all the modern amenities that are offered in the resort areas but still have a lot to do.
