Cabeza Toro Holidays

Playa Cabeza de Toro is one of the top beaches in the Punta Cana area of the Dominican Republic. Located just south of El Cortecito, Cabeza de Toro provides the perfect combination of white sand beaches, crystal blue waters surrounded by the natural forests of Punta Cana.

Things to do

Playa Cabeza de Toro is a beautiful white sand beach with water safe for bathing. The beach is lined by palm trees, providing shade from the sun. This long stretch of sand is perfect for laying back and enjoying the views.

If you are feeling a bit more active why not try your hand at some of the activities available on or in the water? Activities available locally include windsurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving and sailing. Instruction is available for all activities or you can just hire equipment if you have sufficient experience. If you just want to get out on the water, you can also hire a canoe or pedalo and take to the water on your own or in a group.

The famous Catelonia Cabeza de Toro Golf Course provides 18 holes and a chance to escape from the beach. Club and shoe rental is available on site.

Natura Park Eco Resort and Spa

Situated just in front of the beach at Cabeza de Toro, the Natura Park Eco Resort and Spa provides a range of activities and a chance to relax in the forest local to the Punta Cana region. If you have had enough of the beach, take some time out of the sun and try horse riding through the forest. Other facilities available include tennis courts, gym, archery, dancing and special activities for children. If you just need a bit of pampering, there is also the famous spa on site.

Whether you want to sip cocktails as the sun goes down or be dancing until the sun comes up, there is something for everyone to enjoy at night in Cabeza de Toro. Much of the nightlife is based in the local hotels. Most of the hotels feature a different show or act every night of the week, so there is plenty of choice! Choose from a romantic meal for two by the beach or hit the dance floor – the choice is yours.

Getting around

Playa Cabeza de Toro's closest airport is Punta Cana International Airport, one of the Caribbean's busiest airports, serving over a million visitors each year. The La Romana International Airport is also only a few hours away.

Local transport

The easiest way to get to Playa Cabeza de Toro is by car. For those who want to explore on their own terms, a range of cars are available to hire from companies in the cities nearby and at the airport.
