Along Great Britain and Northern France are the Channel Islands which are made up of eight islands and a few inlets. Although the Channel Islands are situated closer to France, the islands are really under the British ruling. For a visitor on holiday in any one of the Channel Islands, they would be in for a treat as there are several beach resorts here and lots to see and do.
Go cycling and soak up some of the island’s scenery while you are at it, or get to see and know the birds of these islands via bird watching. With mild weather almost year round, it would not hurt to go for a stroll along the beach and simply unwind. One of the most popular islands here is Jersey. Jersey is brimming with a lot of activities. Probably the largest in all of the islands Jersey has an underground German Hospital that was built in World War II and is definitely worth touring.
