The Adeje municipal district on the west coast of Tenerife is known for a few picturesque resorts and Playa Paraiso is one of them. As a quiet resort Playa Paraiso attracts those who desire the full relaxation package of sun, sea, shopping and a little bar hopping in between. Playa Paraiso is translated Paradise beach and one would expect to see miles of beach space here. And to make up for the size of the beach there is a wide expanse of saltwater lido which is very popular here.

Of course the view from above is fascinating and on occasions during the winter months the mountains peak is capped with snow. Once at this highest peak you can visit the Mt. Teides national Park to see a variety of flowers and plants from all over the world. There are insects here as well and the park is also home to several bird species that are colourful and pretty.
If you are accompanied by children then they will totally love visiting the water theme parks in Playa las Americas. There is also a nature site in the form of Loro Parque, where you would go to see sharks and penguins and hear the calming sounds of the parrots there.
For a relatively new resort Playa Paraiso has an impressive list of accommodation choices. The hotels here are larger than life with tall modernly structured buildings. However if you desire an accommodation with a more homely feel you can always rent a holiday villa, some of which offer two bedroom accommodation.
