Costa Calero Holidays

If you are searching for a getaway that offers adventure, scenic attractions and comfortable year-round weather then visit Costa Calero and you would not be disappointed. Costa Calero is on the south eastern side of Lanzarote and it can also be found less than 15 kilometres from the airport.

This quiet resort is also home to a beautiful marina where it isn’t unusual to see fancy yachts of all sizes docked there. The resort was built back in 1989 and has kept a reputation for providing five-star rated hotels and other types of top-notch accommodation to visitors.

You owe it to yourself to visit Costa Calero even if it is just to indulge in some fun past-times that would keep you busy throughout your holiday. One of the first things you would notice is that Costa Calero does not have a beach of its own. But that does not mean that you have to cancel your sunbathing plans while on holiday there.

Rather you can pack your swimsuits and catch a bus or cab to Papagayo beach which is the nearby resort of Puerto Del Carmen. On this beach white sands would be the first thing to captivate you followed by how warm and inviting the water looks. You can also indulge in a few water sporting activities.

On any given day you can visit the marina and get the chance to either explore the underwater world as you go scuba-diving or if you are skilled enough you can also head out to fish for sharks on an adventure trip. Costa Calero may be a beautiful gem as you tour the landscapes here but wait until you see how spectacular it looks from the sea in a sailboat.

Beauty in its raw form could never go out of style as you would observe on a visit to the National Park of Timanfaya. As you journey up the mountains you would be able to catch a glimpse of the majestic lava formations and there is definitely no mistaking the gigantic craters at this mountain side as well.

Also not to be missed on your next holiday in Costa Calero is the mystery which lies in the Los Verdes caves. Tucked away on the northern side of Lanzarote the caves boast of having an underwater lake and very large stalactites and Stalagmites. Check out the illuminated taverns that are there; you would be pleasantly surprised.
